Kingston Peace Council/CND is holding a Hiroshima commemoration on August 6th.

There will be a vigil with posters from 12 to 1pm near entrance to the Bentalls Centre/side of Barclays Bank.

At 8.15 pm we will gather by the river in Canbury Gardens Kingston (Nr. the bandstand) for a short candlelit commemoration, the Mayor is being invited. Please bring white flowers to float on the river, plus lanterns to line the path. If desired bring night-lights on biodegradable items such as half-grapefruit skins to float on the river.
